Hybrid Melon
- The earliest maturing melon in the RZ “Caribbean” series
- Concentrated fruit set usually a “crown” set on the plastic resulting in very few ground marks. The majority of the fruit can be harvested in one pick
- Firm flesh with very good shipping ability and shelf life
- Oval round fruit shape. Small seed cavity. High brix, usually between 11 and 13 under most growing conditions and very good eating quality
- Caribbean King loses its gray green skin colour under the net when fruit are mature
- Disease Resistance: HR:Fom:0,1,2 IR:Px(ex Sf):2,3,5.
